Rocky Mountain National Park is in north-central Colorado about 70 miles northwest of Denver. The park encompasses over 265,000 acres of some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in Colorado. Trail Ridge Road, an All-American Road Scenic Byway, crosses the park and the Continental Divide. The road provides views of numerous mountain peaks stretching above 14,000 feet.
