Chaparral and Can-Am Circle Campgrounds

Camping is available year-round at the Chaparral and Can-Am Circle "C" campgrounds for $30 per night. Both campgrounds feature:

  • Sites with water and electricity
  • Dump station
  • Level sites with a black top pad suitable for cars, pick-up campers and RVs (sites cannot accommodate tents with stakes)
  • Bathrooms and hot showers within a short walk
  • Picnic tables and fire pits

San Lorenzo Park, King City, California


San Lorenzo Park offers a shaded campground with tent camping, RV hook-ups and pull-through sites. A total of 83 hook-up sites are available including 45 pull-through sites with access to water and electric hook-ups, 25 pull-through sites with sewer, water and electric hook-ups, 10 tent camping sites with water availability and 13 back-in sites with hook-ups for water and electricity.

Description: Caspers Wilderness Park is an 8,000 acre protected wilderness preserve nestled among the river terraces and sandstone canyons of the western coastal Santa Ana Mountains. The county park is about eight miles east of I-5 Exit 82 via CA 74 (Ortega Hwy).

Campground: Open all year, 78 sites, $15 per night, 45-foot RV limit, some tent-only sites, 23 equestrian sites, 15-day stay limit, drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets, showers, dump station, picnic tables, fire pits/grills, amphitheater, playground.

Description: County park in the Los Angeles area. Take any north-south freeway in L.A. County to the 105 Freeway, and head west. The 105 exits onto Imperial Highway, and the RV Park is at the end of Imperial - on the beach in Playa del Rey (the beach of the Kings).

Campground: Open all year, sites with electric, water, and sewage hookups, $24 to $32 per night, 37-foot RV limit, reservations accepted (800-950-7275), 21-day stay limit, drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets, showers, laundry, dump station, picnic tables, fire pits/grills, swimming area, pets allowed.
