The Hitchcock Nature Center is located four miles east of I-29 Exit 66. The county park's campground features 18 sites with 50-amp electric hookups for $12 per night. Tent camping ($10 per night) and back-county camping ($5) is also available. Amenities include a dump station, showers, and restrooms.

Botna Bend Park is a county park located eight miles south of Interstate 80 Exit 40 along SR-59. The park's campground has 40 sites with 30-amp electric hookups. Tent camping is also available. Camping fee is $10 for tent sites and $12 for sites with hookups. Campground amenities include a dump station, showers, and restrooms.

Arrowhead Park is located just one mile off I-80 Exit 23. The county park features a 17-acre lake stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish. Visitors can fish from shore, fishing dock, or their own boat.

The park's campground has 54 sites with electric hookups (30/50-amp) for $12 per night. Six non-electric pull-thru sites are also available. Tent camping ($10) is allowed throughout the park. Campground amenities include restrooms, showers, and a dump station.

700-acre county park in west-central Wisconsin, 4.5 miles south of Glenwood City via Rustic Road #3. Campground is open May - Oct and has sites with electric hookups for $20. Amenities include a dump station, pit toilets, drinking water, showers, golf course, swimming beach, picnic area, group area, hiking trails, boat landing, new handicapped accessible fishing pier, canoe and boat rental.

Laguna Seca Recreation Area, Salinas, California


Chaparral and Can-Am Circle Campgrounds

Camping is available year-round at the Chaparral and Can-Am Circle "C" campgrounds for $30 per night. Both campgrounds feature:

  • Sites with water and electricity
  • Dump station
  • Level sites with a black top pad suitable for cars, pick-up campers and RVs (sites cannot accommodate tents with stakes)
  • Bathrooms and hot showers within a short walk
  • Picnic tables and fire pits

San Lorenzo Park, King City, California


San Lorenzo Park offers a shaded campground with tent camping, RV hook-ups and pull-through sites. A total of 83 hook-up sites are available including 45 pull-through sites with access to water and electric hook-ups, 25 pull-through sites with sewer, water and electric hook-ups, 10 tent camping sites with water availability and 13 back-in sites with hook-ups for water and electricity.

Description: This 2,100-acre county park features a 17-acre lake for boating and fishing. The park's campground is open mid-April to mid-November and has 64 pull-thru sites with water and electric hookups (20/30-amp). Mahlon Dickerson Reservation


Mahlon Dickerson Reservation is a 3,200-acre county park in north-central New Jersey. The campground is open May to October and has a total of 30 sites; 18 with water and electric hookups. To reach the park from I-80 Exit 34, travel north on NJ 15 to Weldon Rd and then east to the campground.

Description: This scenic, wooded site on the North Fork Maquoketa River is located about 5 miles north of Dyersville off Highway 136. The recreational area includes modern picnic, playground and camping facilities with showers and restrooms. Softball fields and sand volleyball courts are located adjacent to the picnic areas. Picnic pavilions are available for rent. More than two miles of nature trail leads the hiker through the heavily forested portion of the park area, which is frequently used as a winter roosting site by Bald Eagles. A year-round park attendant is in residence at this site. This park is closed for the winter season.
