Since we camp and drive, we found the old city of Mineral Wells quaint and not so attractive. This was once a spa for people who came to bathe in hot mineral waters that came from wells in the area.
The one attraction that is a must see is Clarke Gardens Botanical Park. This garden has been featured in Texas Highways magazine. It is truly a world-class gardens. Sandi and I have visited many famous gardens in the United Kingdom, and Clarke Gardens rates up there with the best.
